The Shelby County Children’s Advocacy Center (Owens House) is a proud allocation agency of United Way of Central Alabama. Due in part to their generous annual funding, we are able to provide our top-tier prevention and intervention services at no cost to recipients. United Way’s financial contribution enables the children and families we serve to focus on what matters most – healing from trauma.
United Way’s annual campaign runs in the fall of every year, at which time we encourage you to donate to them, as this campaign funds each of their yearly allocation grants. We are incredibly grateful to be a part of United Way, and to be recognized as worthy of their support as we strive to protect and restore the children and families of Shelby County.
